In October 2016, it was announced that violinist and pianist Neil Amin-Smith had decided to leave Clean Bandit. Two days later, the group released their first song as a three-piece without Amin-Smith: "Rockabye", which features rapper Sean Paul and singer Anne-Marie.

Formed in Cambridge in 2009, the 4 piece ensemble’s 2014 hit ‘Rather Be’ shot to Number 1 on the UK Singles Charts - and was awarded a 2015 Grammy Award for ‘Best Dance Recording’.
