Tun Perak ialah anak Bendahara Seri Wak Raja dan beliau telah menjadi Penghulu Kelang dari tahun 1445 ketika berlangsungnya permusuhan antara kerajaan Siam dan Melaka. Maka, Tun Perak diperintahkan untuk datang ke Melaka bersama-sama orang Kelang yang lain, lelaki mahupun perempuan.
