Tengku Zatashah binti Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (born 12 October 1973) is a member of the Selangor royal family who is the second daughter of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the current and ninth Sultan of Selangor.
A royal environmentalist and activist, Tengku Zatashah Idris leads and empowers Malaysians towards a better and cleaner environment. Tengku Zatashah Idris is the daughter of the ruler of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and an environmental and social activist.
Tengku Zatashah has been Make-A-Wish® Malaysia’s Royal Patron since 2015. She is an active social advocate and environmental activist, having founded several high-impact campaigns, including #sayno2plastic (2016), #zerofoodwastage (2016), and #NoMoreLitter #BecauseWeCare (2020).
Tengku Zatashah was awarded ADEX Ocean Ambassador at ADEX Singapore 2019 for her work in environment. In 2020 she was invited to be one of the 250 speakers from 122 countries at the world’s largest sustainability expo in Paris at Change NOW Summit at the Grand Palais, and the only speaker from Malaysia.
