[Ewha On This Day] July 2nd, 1949 / The Inaugural EWHA Commencement Ceremony Ewha Womans University, which was accredited as the first university on August 15, 1946, was reorganized into a four-year university system with three colleges—Hanlim, Yelim, and Haeng-lim College—consisting of nine departments.
