Houck Stadium is an 11,015-seat multi-purpose stadium in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It opened in 1930 and was named after famous Missouri resident Louis Houck. Today it is home to the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks football team and women's soccer team.
Houck Field has served as the home of the Southeast Missouri State University football team for over 80 years. Houck Field underwent a huge makeover, as a new Field Turf playing surface, state-of-the-art Daktronics video scoreboard and new lighting were installed prior to the 2011 season.
24 Sep 2021 · The first phase of the project will include demolition of the existing south grandstand structure as well as construction of a new south seating bowl and concourse with new restrooms and concession areas. Current plans indicate this phase will be complete in time for the Fall 2022 season.
