Dec 15, 2023 · To trace the lineage of the Lodi dynasty, it is best to start with Behram Lodi, who was based in Multan in the early 1400s. Behram was a merchant and settled in Hindustan permanently during the Tughlaq regime, which ruled Delhi. He had five sons, and the second was Malik Kala.
Ibrahim Khan Lodi was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty, who was defeated and killed by Babur in 1526 at the Battle of Panipat. He faced rebellions from his brothers and built the Khwaja Khizr Tomb in Sonipat.
