Vevey (French pronunciation: ⓘ; Arpitan: Vevê; ‹See Tfd› former German: Vivis) is a town in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud, on the north shore of Lake Leman, near Lausanne. The German name Vivis is no longer commonly used.
