Noank ( / ˈnoʊæŋk / NOH-ank) is a village in the town of Groton, Connecticut. This dense community of historic homes and local businesses sits on a small, steep peninsula at the mouth of the Mystic River with a long tradition of fishing, lobstering and boat-building.
This coastal village is a joy in all seasons. It’s only a 5 minute drive to nearby Mystic and about a 20 minute drive to Stonington. Noank’s location makes it a great day trip if you are staying in Mystic or live close enough to drive down for the day. In many respects, it has stood the test of time.

Town Dock. Located at the end of Main Street on the Noank peninsula, this town-owned site offers unobstructed views of the lower Mystic River and Mason's Island. A small beach and dock area are provided (though overnight docking is not permitted). Facilities include access pier, handicapped access and picnic area, seasonal port-o-let.
