This week, my partner and I took the train from Gambir station, Jakarta, to the city of Bandung, West Java, a trip of 3.5 hours. The trip on Executive (AC) class train was excellent, and hassle free. Gambir station is now very modern, with ample seating for passengers waiting to board their trains.
