The Factories and Machinery (Repeal) Act 2022 was passed on 16 March 2022 and will take effect on 1 June 2024. From 1 June 2024, the relevant provisions of the repealed FMA, in particular provisions relating to the inspection of machineries, will be consolidated (with changes) into the amended OSHA.
