The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, formerly the Biltmore Theatre, is a Broadway theater at 261 West 47th Street in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Opened in 1925, it was designed by Herbert J. Krapp in the neo-Renaissance style and was constructed for Irwin Chanin.
Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. When we are in performance: Monday: 12-6pm. Tuesday through Saturday*: 12pm until 30 minutes after the evening curtain. Sunday*: 12pm to 6pm (or until 30 minutes after evening curtain, when scheduled) *Box office opens at 10am on matinee days. When we are not in performance: Monday-Saturday 12-6pm. Closed Sunday.

Known for much of its life as the Biltmore, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre has changed ownership - and purpose - a number of times. With stints as a venue for news content and a TV and radio station, the theater eventually closed following a fire in the late 1980s.
