As far as I know ARS is used for outbound calls to public network while the AAR is used for outbound calls for private network. But, What could restrict configuring AAR to be used for making outbound calls to public network?

Oct 30, 2015 · I'm digging around our system and trying to understanding the ARS and AAR routing tables. What I can gather at the moment is that , AAR tables are used for on network calls, ie calls between sites & ARS. routing is for off net calls. So if I dial 9 then a mobile number 9 079********.
