May 14, 2022 · Trip to Mantanani Island. We had our holiday at Mantanani Island in Sabah from 11th May to 13th May 2022. We departed from Magellan hotel lobby to Rampayan Jetty in Kota Belud by bus around on 650AM. It took us around 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive to Rampayan jetty in Kota Belud.
The island is stunning with crsytal clear, turquoise sea. The staffs where i stayed (Sutera @ Mantanani) were very friendly and helpful. The scenery is more beautiful with the background of mount Kinabalu. Sadly , the island is full of trash , mainly plastic. We had to clean the place before started to swim.
Mantanani Island is beautiful, there's no denying that. It has long stretch of white sandy beaches and very very clear water. The beaches are lined with lots of coconut trees and the soft white sand is really nice to walk on.
