Despite being a European joint venture, MBDA has maintained national divisions since its creation: MBDA France, MBDA UK and MBDA Italy. They were formed by simply grouping in their respective countries the assets and activities of the various French, British and Italian businesses that had merged to create MBDA.

Feb 7, 2024 · European weapons developer MBDA has received a contract to deliver 1,300 Akeron medium-range anti-tank missiles and 329 Mistral 3 short-range air defense systems to France. The order, valued at approximately 300 million euros ($322.8 million), will see the first 200 Akerons shipped by the end of 2025.

Nov 25, 2021 · Following authorisation from the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), the French procurement agency, MBDA completed the delivery of a batch of MMP (Missile Moyenne Portée / medium range missile) to the French Service Interarmées des Munitions (SIMu) on 16 November 2021, which included the 1000th MMP.
