This isn't just your regular city zoo or wildlife park. There is so much to do for both kids and adults. Feeding the kanagaroos and wallaby's was included in the fare (fantastic), the farm show was entertaining for all ages, and the experiences on offer with wombats and koalas were excellent.
We were on a holiday in Western Australia and were in Perth which gave us an opportunity to visit the Caversham Wildlife Park. The Park is spread over a large area and is covered with trees and plants which gives a cool cover to visitors.
Part of the vast Whiteman Park estate, this wildlife park features cassowaries, echidnas, kangaroos, koalas, potoroos, quokkas and native birds – if you're not from Australia, it's a great introduction to the locals. Say g'day to Neil, the very laid-back southern hairy wombat.
