you can use extra frames to measure things out if you need to, the following is jawoodles suggestion as a minimum, with a minor upgrade. The 2 ramps on either side of the satiarway, one facing away from the stairs, the other facing into them, helps stream the zombies so they punch your bridge less.
Jawoodle's crouching exploit horde base. So basically you can use the new zombie crawling mechanic to make a horde base where you can shoot zombies in the head easier and it's harder to shoot demolisher buttons. You just make a 1 block wide corridor and they crouch into it, easy peezy.
