Apr 27, 2022 · Kuala Lumpur, 27 Apr 2022 – Malindo Air, a Malaysian-based regional airline, announced today that it is now officially rebranded as Batik Air. The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has granted a new Air Operators Certificate (AOC) to Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd to do business as Batik Air (dba Batik Air) with effect from 28 April 2022.
Nov 24, 2021 · Malindo Air’s inaugural VTL flight OD803 from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore will depart on Nov 29 at 9.25 am, while the first OD804 flight from Singapore will depart on Nov 29 at 11.30 am. VTL flights are now available for booking.

Jul 11, 2022 · SEPANG: After almost a decade in operation, Malindo Air has been rebranded as Batik Air. In a ceremony at a hotel here on Monday (July 11), Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong officiated at the rebranding exercise alongside the induction of the Boeing 737-8 as part of the airline’s fleet.
