Sep 23, 2018 · The Japan-built Gemini was sold here in the States as the Buick/Opel by Isuzu (a confusing amalgamation of a name if ever there was one–three manufacturers and no room for a model name), and sales politely clunked along until 1980, when the brand quietly left Buick dealers in a haze of X-car-induced excitement.
