Göppingen (Swabian: Geppenge or Gebbenga) is a town in southern Germany, part of the Stuttgart Region of Baden-Württemberg. It is the capital of the district Göppingen . Göppingen is home to the toy company Märklin , and it is the birthplace of football player Jürgen Klinsmann .
Die Kirche wurde 1506 in spätgotischer Form erbaut. Sie besitzt mehrere Epitaphien der Ortsherrschaft. Nach dem Neubau der heutigen Jakob-Andreä-Kirche wurde die alte Kirche an die Stadt Göppingen verkauft, die dort im Jahr 1992 das Jüdische Museum Göppingen eröffnete (siehe unten).
