Tucheng District (Chinese: 土城區; pinyin: Tǔchéng Qū; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Thô͘-siâⁿ-khu) is a district in the southwestern part of New Taipei City, Taiwan. Tucheng District Office. History. On 26 June 1993, Tucheng was upgraded from rural township to a county-administered city within Taipei County.

As the train pulls into Shulin Railway Station, the air is filled with the sweet aroma of red yeast. When you visit Tucheng in May, you'll see the flowers of Vernicia fordii falling in the wind. A poetic scene is created when the entire mountain is covered with the white flowers of tung trees.

Tucheng’s Tung Blossom Park is situated on the mountainside of Tucheng’s highest peak, Tianshangshan. It is a mountainous valley formed by Nantianmushan (Nantianmu Mountain) and Huoyenshan, and can be reached by meandering along the Shibiliao riverside wooden boardwalk.
