Check in there for settings you can adjust like sensitivity of your touchpad to see if any of those settings solves this.

Sep 23, 2022 · No luck. I tried using 3 different mice and two different USB ports; again, no luck. I even did a complete reset/reinstall of Windows 11 and chose to delete all files and settings. Mar 11, 2024 · Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) My laptop was turned off for a month while on vacation. When I turned it back on, the Logitech wireless mouse movement was very erratic. It would not track across the screen and I have to use the touchpad until the the mouse starts working again. This is very frustrating especially when scrolling.
Feb 15, 2020 · Follow these steps to fix the erratic mouse issue using Mouse Acceleration: Right click Start. Select Control Panel. Go to Hardware and Sound. Select Mouse. Choose Pointer Options tab. Uncheck Enhance pointer precision box to turn off Mouse Acceleration. Click Apply then click Ok. Check if the mouse works properly now.

Hundreds of thousands of users (perhaps millions) have complained and they are all using different mice on. different types of computers. Microsoft keeps sending users off chasing red herrings to try and fix the problems.
