The Rackham Graduate School works together with faculty in the schools and colleges of the University to provide more than 180 graduate degree programs and to sustain a dynamic intellectual climate within which graduate students thrive.

U-M has maintained its top U.S. public university ranking since 2016. The annual list, which launched in 2004, ranks the 1,300 best institutions from around the world. This year, U-M ranked 23rd overall.
