The U.S. News & World Report 2023-24 Best Colleges rankings came out today, and Virginia Tech was ranked as one of the top public universities nationally. The university also made a big jump in the social mobility category, which factors in the graduation rates of economically disadvantaged students, and received high marks in the areas of engineering and computer science.
International students who will be entering Virginia Tech as J-1 bilateral exchange students must show at least $8,200 USD for each semester they wish to study at Virginia Tech before the required DS-2019 form can be issued by the university. The DS-2019 will be needed for the J-1 student visa interview.
