The name Rohullah Nikpai might not carry the same weight as Bolt, Phelps or even Mitcham, but the taekwondo fighter deserves his place in Olympic lore. On 19 August, Nikpai, one of just four Afghanistan team members competing at Beijing 2008, won his country’s first ever Olympic medal.
