Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuala Lumpur merupakan sekolah teknik tertua di Malaysia. Ditubuhkan pada tahun 1926 sebagai "The Federal Malay State Trade School", namanya ditukar kepada "Junior Technical Trade School".
