Sep 13, 2024 · I watched it this evening. It was fun enough, but extremely goofy. The narration was a cool idea in theory but executed in a way that made it obnoxious after awhile. Still, it had some cool action sequences and that end fight was pretty rad. It suits streaming services well.

Elden Ring has the most enjoyable combat for an open world. RDR2 has the best atmosphere and is the most immersive to me. I'd say those three choices are the best open world games for different reasons.

Jun 27, 2023 · The main point of a spear is the range, but that's predicated on existing a world where being close is *way* more dangerous and linear than what the DMC/NG/Bayos of the world present. At best most spear stuff in games tend to just be "slightly longer sword/staff moves" with the occasional tipper quality and a smaller moveset, which makes it a challenge for the most action heavy games.
