Elliott Roosevelt (February 28, 1860 – August 14, 1894) was an American socialite. He was the father of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and the younger brother of Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919), the 26th president of the United States.

Elliott Roosevelt. (Pilot) Elliott Roosevelt was a distinguished wartime pilot and aviation official. The son of US President Franklin D. Roosevelt, he joined the US Army Air Corps a year before the United States joined the Second World War and was promoted to the post of brigadier general within a few years.
Elliott was the more academically successful and appeared to be the most promising of the four Roosevelt children, but that would change in time. Throughout his life, Elliott maintained a pleasant, but volatile personality bent on self-destruction.
Elliott Roosevelt (1860-1894), nicknamed "Ellie" or "Nell," was the third child of Theodore Roosevelt Sr. and Martha (Mittie) Bulloch Roosevelt. He was also the father of First Lady Anna Eleanor Roosevelt and the younger brother of President Theodore Roosevelt.
Elliott was Theodore's best-man on October 27, 1880, on Theodore's first marriage to Alice Roosevelt. In 1883, when Elliott was 23, he met the beautiful Anna Hall, and they wed quickly. Elliott and Anna had three children, Anna Eleanor (1884–1962), Elliott Jr. (1889–1893), and Gracie Hall (1891–1941).
