Duncan peaked at 33.5 PTS100 and had 3 seasons of 32+ PTS100 over his career. Olajuwon had 5 in a row, exceeding 33.5 in each of the first 4, including 35.8 and 35.6.
Jul 16, 2023 · VOTE: Hakeem Olajuwon Nomination: Kobe Bryant Voting Hakeem here because I trust him the most in the postseason. F4p has thoroughly covered various angles of that idea, and I largely find the stance self-evident anyway. I hope that fatal9 consolidation post covers most of the remaining gaps, but fatal9 referenced ElGee’s impact analysis, and ...

Sep 14, 2016 · The biggest difference was their scoring efficiency. Robinson was more efficient as a scorer on less volume, but neither was stellar in that regard and the efficiency gap wasn't VERY big. In head to head games Hakeem was a better FT shooter, but Robinson was better at converting from the field. If you look at their scoring, then it seems that ...
Nov 8, 2019 · Post #6 » by Odinn21 » Thu Nov 7, 2019 10:36 pm. Hakeem went hotter in 1995 compared to 1994 in terms of scoring but his 1994 playoffs run was better overall and I think 1994 Hakeem vs. 2012 LeBron would be a tighter comparison. For about half of Hakeem's peak—6 seasons; 1987-92—Hakeem averaged 23.2ppg and 12.9 rpg, with 3.7 blocks a game, and had three All-NBa first team nods, four MVP top 10 finishes, and one top 5 finish?
Feb 16, 2024 · Also, if you look at 3-year PS scoring stretches for more context, Hakeem looks better than if you do only single year stretches. 93-95 Hakeem. 28.7 pts per 75 (rTS% of 3.4%) PS ScoreVal-1.6. 82-84 Moses Malone. 23.8 pts per 75 (rTS% of 3.9%) PS ScoreVal-1.6. Next, I would say Hakeem is a better playmaker than Malone.
Bill Russell OTOH was the ultimate role player, and managed to dominate from that particular job. Russ's defence is considered superior to Olajuwon's (who was, of course no slouch in that department), but the difference in scoring is substantial. The bit that swings the pendulum back to Russ for mine is passing.

Jul 11, 2021 · Nonetheless I've never witnessed another war down low within the paint quite like Hakeem vs Ewing of 94' and not ever since (both in their absolute primes).
