Nov 14, 2015 · I am guessing this one has already been mentioned - while Bailey (Jan Smithers) was never considered ugly all the men drooled over Jennifer (Lonnie Anderson) on WKRP. I thought Lonnie was actually great as Jennifer and she was a great character, but always felt she looked more like a caricature or mannequin.

Even during the TV movie years, she was often a third-stringer who only got lead roles because of her last-minute availability.

She also suffered from that 70s blandness that afflicted a lot of actresses at the time. Long, lifeless brown hair and a tendency to wear browns and beiges.
