I'm just saying that transfer between the Gallipoli Peninsula and Troy ancient site requires a ferry trip over the Dardanelles - a very pleasant 45 minutes - through the centre of busy Canakkale. Adds a lot to the time. The new bridge is stunning, but well North of Troy and far from any memorial sites of Gallipoli.
