The first generation Fairlady Z (S30) was born in 1969 as a successor of convertible sports car Datsun Fairlady and became a global big hit. Mounted engines were L20 (6-cyl.in line OHC, 2000cc, SU type twin carburetors) and S20 (6-cyl.in line 4-valve DOHC, 2000cc, SOLEX twin-choke triple carburetors).
