Jun 10, 2024 · Late last night Sinn Féin’s Paddy McDonald lost the council seat he has held for two decades in the Bailieboro Cootehill Municipal District. The last remaining seats went to Fianna Fáíl newcomer Niall Smith, with Fianna Fáil's Aiden Fitzpatrick missing out in the early hours of this morning.
