Jun 20, 2024 · What does it mean to “mishandle” a spider? I saw a cute bold jumping spider today. It seemed very curious and poked its head out to watch me after it went to hide. I looked it up online and it said “bites from bold jumping spiders are rare but may occur if they feel threatened or are mishandled”.
Jun 16, 2024 · It’s a cross between “mishandling” and “mismanagement”. You could use it as a neologism, and be understood, but there’s always a risk folks will think you’re dumb. It’s not a recognized portmanteau. Why not showing on google.
