Billy Dickson is an American cinematographer and television director. As a cinematographer he is best known for his work on the television series Ally McBeal, for which he was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series in 2001 and 2002.

William Dickson (born 8 April 1947 in Larkhall) is a Scottish former footballer, who played most notably for Kilmarnock and Scotland. He played for Kilmarnock for approximately a decade, winning international honours in 1970 and 1971. [1]
He was postmaster there for 20 years and served as the first sheriff of newly formed Hutchinson County. He also served as state land commissioner and a justice of the peace. In 1894, Dixon married Olive King Dixon of Virginia, who for nearly three years was the only woman in Hutchinson County. They had seven children.
