Abstract. Echocardiography is the first and is the most-available imaging modality for many cardiovascular diseases, and echocardiographic parameters can give much important information for diagnosis, treatment, and prognostic evaluations.
8 Mei 2018 · Conclusions: In patients with acute HF, GLS has greater prognostic value than LVEF. Therefore, the authors suggest that GLS should be considered as the standard measurement in all patients with HF. This new concept needs validation in further studies.
