The immensely successful The Bourne Ultimatum from director Paul Greengrass, the third film in the thriller Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) trilogy, was an exception: it received three Oscar wins from its three nominations in technical categories (with wins for Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Film Editing).
