Lindsey Caroline Vonn ( née Kildow / kɪldaʊ /; born October 18, 1984) [1] is an American former World Cup alpine ski racer. She won four World Cup overall championships – third amongst female skiers to Annemarie Moser-Pröll and Mikaela Shiffrin – with three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010, [2] plus another in 2012. [3]

A downhill victory drew the Olympic gold medallist level with Moser-Pröll on 62 World Cup wins and the next day Lindsey went one better by clocking first place in the Super-G race. With her family by her side, Lindsey Vonn was crowned the best female skier of all-time.
