Stephanie Morgenstern (born December 10, 1965) is a Canadian actress, filmmaker, and screenwriter for television and film. She has worked extensively on stage, film, and television in both English and French.
Morgenstern directed the critically acclaimed 'Remembrance,' a short WW2 drama which she co-wrote and co-starred in with Mark Ellis. It earned a Genie Award nomination for Best Short Live Action Film, won Best Canadian Short at the Worldwide Short Film Festival, and the Jutra Award for Best Short.
She began in her teens as a bilingual stage, film, and television actor, later branching into filmmaking, screenwriting, directing and TV showrunning. She is perhaps best known for the landmark police series Flashpoint (CBS/CTV), co-created with her partner Mark Ellis.
