Nicholas King (March 21, 1933 – April 3, 2012) was an American actor and horticulturist who was instrumental in preserving the Watts Towers. Robert Nicholas King was born in Sacramento, California. After graduating from high school in 1951, King began taking acting lessons at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Serving as Nicolas’ musical director for 14 years, 7 time Emmy Award winning Mike Renzi and Nicolas made 3 albums together, and traveled the country in concert. In 2023, King released the final recording he and Renzi made together before Renzi’s unexpected passing in 2021.
