  2. Saybrook's freshmen were housed in Lanman-Wright Hall and Bingham Hall on Old Campus (as were the freshmen of Pierson College). Lanman-Wright Hall was designed by William Adams Delano and constructed in 1912. Starting in the fall of 2011, Saybrook's freshmen are now housed in Vanderbilt Hall. The college was renovated during the 2000-2001 year.

  4. Ten Yale residential colleges had opened by 1940; Morse and Ezra Stiles accepted their first students in 1962. Saybrook College takes its name from the Connecticut town where the Collegiate School-which would later be known as Yale College-was founded in 1701, and where instruction would be offered from 1707-1716.

  5. Saybrook University is a private university in Pasadena, California. It was founded in 1971 by Eleanor Camp Criswell [2] and others. It offers postgraduate education with a focus on humanistic psychology. It features low residency, master's, and doctoral degrees and professional certification programs.
