Intercity is the brand name for a group of diesel-hauled intercity train services in Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB). Most services operate from Kuala Lumpur Sentral station in the Malaysian capital, plying the West Coast Line.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) (Jawi:كريتاڤي تانه ملايو برحد) or Malayan Railway Limited, colloquially referred to simply as KTM, is the main rail operator in Peninsular Malaysia. The railway system dates back to the British colonial era, when it was first built to transport tin.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (singkatan: KTMB; Jawi: كريتاڤي تانه ملايو برحد) merupakan pengendali kereta api utama di Semenanjung Malaysia (West Malaysia). Sejarah KTMB bermula sejak era zaman penjajahan British lagi, ketika laluan kereta api dibina bagi mengangkut bijih timah dari lombong ke pelabuhan.
KTM Berhad, or KTMB for short, is the main railway operator in Peninsular Malaysia. Previously known as the Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) and the Malayan Railway Administration (MRA), the name change to Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) was formerly inaugurated in 1962.
