Synopsis. Madan (Dev Anand) comes from a once well-to-do family. Times have changed and he is now out of luck and work, and lives in a shanty with his sick younger sister, Manju (Roopa Verman), who is undergoing treatment for TB. He meets and falls in love with Dr. Rajani.
