Rambo: First Blood Part II is a 1985 American action film directed by George P. Cosmatos from a story by Kevin Jarre, and a screenplay by James Cameron and Sylvester Stallone, who also reprises his role as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. A sequel to First Blood (1982), it is the second installment in the Rambo franchise, followed by Rambo III.
John Rambo is sent back to Vietnam to rescue American POWs, but he is betrayed and captured by the Vietnamese and Russians. He escapes and fights his way out of the jungle, killing many enemies along the way.
