Fearing that Bomba is going to kill the panther and anger the jungle spirits, a group of natives attack him, but Bomba fights them off and continues his pursuit. That night, after hearing the panther nearby, Bomba encounters the seductive Losana in the jungle, and when he escorts her home, Judy becomes jealous.
A man-eating black panther is on the loose and Bomba tries to track it down. He comes across brother and sister Robert and Judy Maitland who are trying to build an agricultural station. The local workmen are superstitious and think the Maitlands housemaid Losana has the spirit of a panther.
