Donovan Quick. Synopsis. The Pannicks are like any other dysfunctional family. Lucy Pannick drinks, her son Jim steals cars, her grandmother forgets to put her clothes on and her learning disabled brother, Sandy, runs model trains in his room all night.
Enter Donovan Quick, the mysterious wordsmith who takes up residence with the Pannick family and changes their lives and the community in the process. When the Windmill Transport Bus Company discontinues a local train route, leaving Sandy with no way to get to his day care center, Donovan decides they should start their own one-bus company.
