The duo signed to Epitaph Records and released their debut album, Patent Pending, on September 12, 2006. They spent the 2006 fall season playing the UK and select dates across the US with Darker My Love.
Heavens Bio. The friendship that spawned Patent Pending, the debut release from Heavens, began several years back when Matt Skiba moved to Los Angeles from Chicago, and wound up becoming housemates with Josiah Steinbrick, himself an East Coast native. "We're both music nerds," Skiba explains.
Heaven is an Australian heavy metal band from Sydney, Australia, that formed in 1980. The band recorded three albums and toured throughout the United States during the 1980s. The group's original style was similar to that of AC/DC but in later years went in a more commercial heavy metal direction along the lines of Judas Priest .
