here is a brief history. Similar to how Tame Impala is 99% Kevin Parker, BMSR is Tom Fec who also goes by Tobacco as a solo artist. That said, both bands have members they tour with. I believe both are essentially solo projects in the writing and recording process.

Fec writes, records, and produces the work of BMSR independently. As a live performance it features members Tobacco whose vocals are altered via a vocoder, synth players The Seven Fields of Aphelion and Pony Diver, drummer Iffernaut, and bassist STV SLV.
