Marie Harriman ( née Norton, formerly Whitney; April 12, 1903 – September 26, 1970) was an American art collector and First Lady of New York from 1955 to 1958. She was the second wife of former New York Governor and diplomat Averell Harriman.
In 1930 Marie Norton became the second wife of W. Averell Harriman [1891-1986], who served as U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union (1943-1946) and Great Britain (1946), and as the Governor of New York (1955-1959).

She was the wife of former New York Governor and diplomat Averell Harriman. Harriman operated a prominent New York City art gallery for more than a decade.
Harriman was married three times. On 21 September 1915 he married Kitty Lanier Lawrence, with whom he had two children: Mary (Mrs. Shirley C. Fisk) and Kathleen (Mrs. Stanley G. Mortimer, Jr.). This marriage ended in divorce. His second marriage, to Marie Norton Whitney, took place on 21 February 1930.
