Karl-August Fagerholm (31 December 1901, in Siuntio – 22 May 1984, in Helsinki) was a Finnish politician. Fagerholm served as Speaker of Parliament [1] and three times Prime Minister of Finland (1948–50, 1956–57, and 1958–59). [2]

Hän oli SDP:n kansanedustaja 1930–1966, moninkertainen eduskunnan puhemies , pitkäaikainen sosiaaliministeri sekä Suomen pääministeri kolmesti vuosina 1948–1950, 1956–1957 ja 1958–1959.

Karl-August Fagerholm (31.12.1901-22.5.1984) oli paitsi yksi suomalaisia johtavia poliitikkoja, myös suuri Israelin ystävä. Fagerholm oli mukana perustamassa ensimmäistä Suomi-Israel Yhdistystä 16.12.1954 ja hän toimi sen ensimmäisenä puheenjohtajana aina vuoteen 1976.
