Tun Sardon bin Jubir (Jawi: سعدون بن زبير, Malay pronunciation:; 19 March 1917 – 14 December 1985) was a Malaysian politician. He served as Minister of Health, Minister of Works and Communications and was the Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Penang from 1975 to 1981.
Tun Sardon bin Haji Jubir (19 Mac 1917 – 14 Disember 1985) merupakan seorang tokoh politik Melayu yang terkenal. Beliau pernah berkhidmat sebagai Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang dari 1975 hingga 1981 .
Tun Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dato’ Haji Sardon bin Haji Jubir served two terms as Penang’s TYT, from 5th February 1975 to 30th April 1981. It was indeed a sad day when he passed away in K.L. on the 14th of December 1985 and was buried at the Makam Pahlawan, Mesjid Negara K.L.
On March 25, 1951, Tun Sardon Jubir was made the Pemuda chief and as a hardworking person he travelled to every party of the country to mobilise the Malays’ support for UMNO and Independence.
